Organizations

International Friends in Provence is a social group dedicated to people who want to connect with and make internationally-minded friends in Provence, using English as the primary language.

APELEVIA: An active group of bi-lingual parents with children in the international sections at College Mignet and/or the Lycée Georges Duby, Luynes

AARO: a volunteer, non-partisan service organization representing the interests of more than 5.26 million U.S. citizens living and working abroad. Its mission is to ensure that Americans resident overseas are guaranteed the same rights and privileges as their counterparts in the U.S.

MAABN (Mediterranean Anglo-American Business Network) was founded in Marseille by company directors, consultants and economic development agencies and has developed an international platform promoting corporate exchanges and business networking in the Marseille-Provence region. MAABN organises a monthly English speaking business networking event, the "Language Apero", as well as numerous conferences throughout the year.

The American Club of Paris, the oldest non-diplomatic American institution in France (and perhaps the world), has always had a dual purpose: to provide Americans living in and around Paris with opportunities to meet, and at the same time, to preserve the special ties that the United States has had with France for more than two centuries.

Schools and Classes

English Bubble: English Bubble is an English speaking cultural centre and cafe. We welcome all nationalities, in a place where you can meet other Expatriates, practice English, relax in our cafe/shop or take part in our classes or ceramic sessions.
We aim to provide a welcoming environment which gives our customers a ‘taste of England!’ and a chance to feel at home. The cafe serves homemade English cakes & the shelves are full of tempting English foods.

International Bilingual School of Provence: Established since 1984, I.B.S, an independent Secondary school, is based on the principle of French-English Bilingualism and owes its international character to the diversity of nationalities of its students.

Lycee Georges Duby: Lycée Georges Duby is a non fee-paying state high school which prepares students for the French Baccalaureat. Students in the main section of the Lycée are drawn from the residential areas of the southern suburbs of Aix-en-Provence.

Ecole Internationale Manosque: European Schooling at the ISM: An English language European section for secondary students in years 1-4 opened at the International school of Manosque in September 2009. This section serves the French equivalent of 6°, 5°, 4° and 3° classes.

The Sainte Victoire International School A private International School for middle and high school students located on a campus in the heart of Provence, on a prestigious 18-hole golf course.
