MEMBERSHIP As English is the language of the group, we welcome anyone who is a native English speaker or non-native speakers who are proficient in the language. Newsletter Membership of the AAGP includes a subscription to our newsletter published every month except for July and August. With its "Letter from the Board", and up to date information on the Group’s regular activities and upcoming events, it is an integral part of the Group's communication. The "Small Ads" section, features infomation on businesses and services targeting the English speaking community. If you would like your newsletter mailed overseas, we do not charge extra. The newsletter is also available to read on the AAGP website where it is posted at the beginning of each month in the Members’ Section. The membership list is printed each year in a booklet and will be mailed once membership is confirmed. Joining the AAGP also gives you access to the ‘One List’, a group email service where the messages you post will be sent to the mailboxes of all the members registered for it. Need specific advice? Want to buy or sell something? Easy! Send an email to the One List and you will have an answer usually within minutes. Activities We offer a wide variety of activities appealing to all ages and interests, thanks to member input and involvement: regular clubs include hiking, book discussion, computers, golf, pétanque, French conversation, bowling, . gourmet lunches, wine tasting, bridge…. monthly lunches and dinners organised at restaurants or in members’ homes annual events such as Burns’ Night and Thanksgiving and children’s parties and family picnics, guided excursions to places of interest in our area cultural outings to the theatre, art exhibits and music festivals coffee mornings for French/English conversation open to all, twice a week a well-stocked English lending library with books and DVD's, open to all Fees 45€ a year plus 10€ initial registration fee, per family, running from September to September. This includes children under 21 living at home. Please note: there is a half year membership running from February to September.
